Matcha and macadamia cookies

These delicious matcha and macadamia nut cookies are perfect for a gourmet break. Follow this recipe to make them at home.
Ingredients
- 230 g butter
- 130 g brown sugar
- 100 g white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 350 g of wheat flour
- 12 g of Culinary Matcha
- 30 g cornstarch
- 100 g white chocolate
- 125 g macadamia nuts
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
- Melt the butter over medium heat until it turns caramel (hazelnut butter). Let cool.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs. Whisk until the mixture turns white.
- In a second bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, matcha, cornstarch and baking powder.
- Add the hazelnut butter to the sugar-egg mixture. Whisk again to fully incorporate the butter.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to form the cookie dough.
- Add the macadamia nuts and white chocolate.
- Form balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the cookie balls for at least an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
