Matcha Porridge

Matcha porridge is a great way to start your day with a touch of energy and sweetness. This creamy blend of oatmeal, coconut milk and culinary matcha will not only bring you nutritional benefits, but also an explosion of flavors. Here is a simple and delicious recipe for a balanced and indulgent breakfast.
Ingredients
- 70 g of oat flakes
- 135 g coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3g of culinary matcha
- 10 to 15 cl of hot water
For the toppings
- 1 banana to caramelize
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
Preparation
Prepare the Porridge:
- In a saucepan, combine the oatmeal, coconut milk, chia seeds and water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring regularly, until mixture thickens.
- Using your bamboo whisk, whisk 3g of matcha with 10cl of water for a few seconds. Add the matcha to the oatmeal and mix well until fully incorporated.
- Cut the banana in half, then cut lengthwise to obtain 4 slices.
- In a frying pan, heat a little honey over medium heat.
- Add the banana slices and cook until golden brown and caramelized on each side (about 2-3 minutes per side).
Assemble the Porridge:
- Place the matcha porridge in a bowl.
- Arrange the caramelized banana slices, strawberries and blueberries on top.
