  • 1 Original ceremonial and organic matcha
  • 1 measuring spoon

Choose between our original matcha, renowned for its exceptional quality and refined taste, or our matcha with natural vanilla aromas. Ceremonial in style, these two matchas are perfect for traditional tasting or as a latte. They are sure to delight connoisseurs and novices alike.

For best results, add 1 to 2 grams of matcha to a bowl with a little hot water (max. 80°C). Use the measuring spoon for greater precision. Keep your matcha in a cool place. If the temperature exceeds 25°C, we recommend refrigeration. Before opening, let it return to room temperature to avoid condensation, which could alter the texture and quality of the matcha.

☀️ Light:
Protect your matcha from direct sunlight. Store it in a dark place, such as a cupboard or opaque box, to preserve its vibrant color and nutrients.

⏳ Duration after opening:
To take full advantage of matcha's freshness and nutrients, consume it within 2 to 3 months of opening. However, don't worry! Matcha is a non-perishable product and can remain consumable for several years, although its taste and quality may diminish over time.

TRADITIONAL MATCHA OR MATCHA LATTE

For best results, add 1 to 2 grams of matcha to a bowl with a little hot water (max. 80°C). Use the measuring spoon for greater precision.

Whisk vigorously with the bamboo whisk (Chasen), without exerting pressure, forming "M" (or "W") movements to dissolve the powder and obtain a light, creamy foam.

You can enjoy your matcha with water or as a latte with your favorite milk. For more recipes, explore our creative ideas on the TSUKI blog.

Here are a few tips on how to care for your accessories:

LE FOUET

Before first use: Immerse the Chasen in very hot water for a few minutes to soften the bamboo stalks. Repeat this step occasionally, or if you notice that the bamboo stems lack suppleness.

When preparing the matcha: Avoid exerting pressure on the whisk (this is not necessary to obtain a good froth).

After each use: Gently rinse the whisk in cold water to remove any residue. Leave to air-dry to preserve its shape and the suppleness of its strands. It is recommended not to use soap to avoid altering the matcha taste.

Between uses: Keep away from moisture.

MEASURING SPOON

This spoon requires little maintenance.

Our measuring spoon can be cleaned like any other kitchen utensil. After each use, wash with a mild soap and rinse in hot water. It can also be placed in the dishwasher.

They trust us

100% Japanese matcha, cultivated with respect and know-how

All our matchas come from the Yabukita cultivar, renowned for its aromatic quality and rich umami content.

The tea leaves are harvested in the Shizuoka and Kagoshima regions, renowned for their exceptional tea plantations.

Our tips for making the best matchas

  • 🫖 Get your whip ready

Before each use, pour a little hot water over your whisk to soften it.

This prolongs its life and prevents it from spoiling too quickly.

  • 🥄 Dose according to your taste

Use 1 to 2g of matcha for 60 to 80 ml of hot water max 70-75°C.

Any more and you risk burning the powder and altering the taste.

  • 👩🏽‍🍳 Whip like a pro

Use an M or W motion with your whisk, not a circular one!

Your aim is to create a mousse, not a pancake batter. And avoid touching the bottom of the bowl - your whisk will thank you.

  • 🥥 Vary the pleasures

Matcha latte, pastries, sauces or smoothies: anything goes.

Explore our recipe ideas to enjoy matcha in a whole new way!

  • 🍵 Choose the right matcha

For really tasty results, start with a quality matcha.

Choose ceremonial matcha, which is finer, softer and easier to work with.

It's the ideal choice for a good start... and for never going back.
